Your child’s Spanish Lessons at a Glance
We have been working on greetings (¿
Cómo estás?), letters of the alphabet
A, B, C, D and vocabulary using them.
Colors:
amarillo,
azul, continuing with
anaranjado.
At the same time we have been singing songs and dancing to its music. Ask your child to sing the
“Chocolate” song. Students know the song’s lyrics and the meaning of it.
At the beginning of
October we will introduce new songs for them to enjoy and learn.
October colors are
anaranjado and
negro.
Shapes we have practiced in August and September:
circulo/circle and
cuadrado/square. In
October we will be learning and practicing the
triangulo /triangle shape.
Children 3 years and older children are able to identify numbers
1-10.
We will be using the following vocabulary and phrases during our Spanish lessons

¿Cómo te llamas? What is you name?
